And just like that, another Feast year has come to a close and it’s like we’ve officially entered fall.
After spending the last few days detoxing from all the heavy foods, meats and booze (yes I did select “pause” on my vegetarian status for the weekend to fully embrace the event) and thinking back on all the delicious eats and hysterical memories, I can officially say it was another fabulous year for Portland’s top food and drink festival.

Corned Beef Short Rib, Tillamook Vintage Cheddar, Nasturtium Alabama White Barbecue Sauce from Restaurant Beck at Smoked

Chesa’s adorable waffle cones filled with escabeche style duck, avocado, orange-sweet potato, crispy plantain, pimenton-garlic salt, served at Night Market
Great giveaway! I could eat honey mamas all day long.
Those are insanely good and addictive.
Your pics take me back and make me hungry for more Feast, even though I am still stuffed! My fave description of the goody bag items: “Alaska Airlines charger station dealy-bob.” 🙂 I totally say “dealy-bob” to describe things all the time!
Ha! I couldn’t think of what that was called – if it even has a name. So dealy-bob it is!
Such a great goodie bag!!! How nice of you to share!!! My favorite part was the can of sparkling – Because I hear that it’s sold out in stores – And, because it’s sparkling!!!
And in a can! I love that. Though it is certainly dangerous being half a bottle in one little can!
I love going to Renaissance Fairs for the food so I’d love a food festival of nothing but Renaissance food and drink!
What kind of food do they have there? That would be fun.
What an awesome goodie bag! I didn’t attend this year. 🙂 Your pics look beautiful as usual.
Thanks Erika. We missed ya out there!
I would love to attend the NY Wine & Food Festival.
Oh yeah! That would be a really good one I bet.
MMMMM!!! Any food festival is always a winner!!
Yeah what’s not to like about eating and drinking?!
What would really be great is a feast of healthy foods and, of course, chocolate.
I like your thinking! They could just make it dark chocolate which is “healthy” right?!
My dream food festival would be one that served food! LOL. Expecially Cajun or some sort of ethnic food.
Ha! A cajun one would sure be tasty!
This was my first year attending Feast. People have been telling me for years that it took a week to recover, but I thought they were just being hyperbolic. No such luck – it really did take a week!! Great goodies bag, too – that Alaska charger is definitely a swag-winner.
It’s been two weeks and I’m still recovering! Glad you enjoyed your first Feast!!
I love The Charleston Seafood Festival, here in Oregon. I look forward to getting lots of grub there each year!
Wha? Never heard of that! I’ll have to check it out!
I like the State Fair of Texas food. They could do a festival of all the food they have with out the fair its self. Everybody would stil have a good time.
I missed all the FEAST events! I’m pretty sure I won’t make that same mistake next year! Everything looked SO FUN!
