Fingers crossed the sunshine is finally here to stay. And with that comes prime-time al fresco dining. There are a lot of great joints to eat outside in this city but a few really surpass the rest. Here are my favorites that weren’t on last year’s list. Give that post a refresh read to get the full scoop of top spots.

Renata: If what you’re envisioning for your afternoon is a glass of refreshing rose and incredibly prepared handmade breads and pastas in a gorgeous setting, look no further than Renata in SE.
Ankeny Tap & Table: 12 drinks on tap, delicious food (don’t miss the cauliflower elotes with chipotle crema and pickled onion!) and a big assortment of picnic tables to keep you happy.
Tusk: With delicious Mediterranean cuisine by the talented Joshua McFadden, one of the best brunches in town, creative cocktails and a gorgeous patio, it’s an Instagram-picture perfect place to hang out.
Patton Maryland: This is like your favorite backyard party with firepits, lawn games, lots of drinks and Southern food. Count me in.
TD’s popup at Three Degrees: Tacos + margaritas + waterfront views = amazingness. 10 seats at the counter outside of Three Degrees are set up for your enjoyment all summer long.
Schilling Cider House: Ok I haven’t been here yet but CANNOT wait. As you might know, I love hard cider so this new tap house with 50 ciders on tap and a sweet patio is just screaming my name.
Wayfinder: This newish brewery project by the founders of Double Mountain and Sizzle Pie/Quality Bar in the SE industrial district has transformed an old brick warehouse with a massive beautiful patio.
Century: While this place is known primarily as a sports bar, their outdoor rooftop is a prime spot for hanging outdoors.
We just visited Wayfinder and I love their outdoor setup! So perfect for Portland summer and the food is great!
Great list! can we have more cauliflower elotes asap??
Lets go to Schilling!!
