After my rambling about Saturday’s Naked Bike Ride, I figured I’d actually post about the delicious Dessert Dim Sum Yum Yum event at Pix Patisserie.
This event is such a clever idea and was a lot of fun. Just like a regular Dim Sum restaurant, servers will come around with carts filled with 2-3 bite-sized desserts that you can happily accept or pass on. Plus, everything came with optional sherry or wine pairings.

What is up with this amazing weather? Is it really May and 85 degrees? (Speaking of, how is it May already?!) Not that I am complaining at all. I mean look how gorgeous this city is when there is blue skies and the sun is shining!
Whenever it gets nice out, I’m in a constant search of restaurants, bakeries and coffee shops with great outdoor seating. What is better than enjoying the nice warm weather with delicious food or a tasty beverage? Not much, in my opinion.

Need a break from the dreary days of Portland but can’t actually get away from the city? Just head over to SE Clinton where you’ll find St. Jack Pâtisserie and you’ll be whisked away to a French village cafe.
Once you walk in the door into the small bakery section of one of the best new(ish) restaurants in the city, you are greeted by delicious pastries lining the counter, baguettes filling baskets and delightful French music playing in the background.
