It’s getting to be about that time in life. My friends are starting to have adorable little ones! While I have no doubt life changes quite a bit once a baby comes along, that doesn’t mean those new parents shouldn’t be able to go explore the Portland restaurant scene like the rest of us! So for this #ThursdayToursPDX edition, Meredith and I called on two lovely bloggers who recently had babies. Lindsay, who writes a beautiful blog called Rosemarried with gorgeous photos and recipes featuring seasonal, local produce, has the cutest little girl named Margot. (Seriously, don’t believe me? Check out her Instagram!)

I’m not sure exactly what sparked it, but I have now been pescatarian for almost a full month! So while I have been still eating some seafood, I have cut out the rest of the meat market. Yes, I admit there have been a couple times I have not abided by that restriction, such as when I went on a food tour in Georgia or when I drank way too much Rosé at the Ringside Grill opening and I found myself a few hours later scarfing down some sausage pizza at Oven + Shaker. But minus those two encounters, I haven’t really been tempted by meat.
Thursday Tours: Date Night Dinner Out
I’m really excited to bring you a new edition of the Thursday Tours blogger series I am doing with Meredith of Martha Chartreuse. In case you missed the last one (if so, go check it out!), we are doing a regular series where we interview other bloggers and tastemakers to get their favorite spots in Portland.
This edition is all about the date night dinner out. Whether you’re off for a night on the town with your spouse of many years, the dude you met on Tinder a few weeks ago, or your best friend (because friend dates are a must), date nights are a great thing. And of course, the venue can make all the difference.
