Ok, ok, I know there have been a lot of Feast posts lately. But seriously, that event was way too amazing not to share. It was four days of amazing food, delicious drinks, fun events and seeing all sorts of foodie celebrities.

I am such a big food nerd that I get super excited every time I see folks like Gabi Denton of the acclaimed Ox to Bon Appetit magazine’s Restaurant and Drinks Editor Andrew Knowlton, and anyone in between. One Month Countdown Till Feast!

So, September is only two weeks away. I’m not going to lie, it makes me a little sad as summers in Oregon are so great. The beautiful weather, friends coming to town, fun picnics, weddings, and festivals nearly every day of the week. It’s busy and at times chaotic juggling everything, but it’s always wonderful enjoying the Oregon sunshine. So with autumn just around the corner, I am usually a smidge fretful that I haven’t enjoyed summer to the fullest. But that is another reason the ninth month of the year is so nice, it’s the perfect transition month from summer to fall, with still nice weather and packed with great events. Continue Reading...

Sauvie Island Center’s Barn Dance Recap

I’m currently writing this blog post from 30,000 feet up, while flying back from a day trip to Arizona. Yes, you read that right, I hopped on the plane bright and early at 6:15am and then went back to the airport at 2:45, getting home about 8pm. Definitely a quick day of meetings but long day overall. That is just the perks of the new gig!

Overall the new job is going well, though keeping me busy for sure. Hence some of the delayed posts, plus I’ve been working with Bobbi of Ready to Blog Designs on this awesome new layout for Bakery Bingo! Continue Reading...
