Wow! I can’t believe this crazy idea Meredith and I had over food/drinks/ice cream/who knows about interviewing fellow bloggers and tastemakers about their favorite Portland places has been so successful! We have now had 16 (!!!) editions of #ThursdayToursPDX on topics ranging from outdoor eating to date nights; from kid friendly places to breweries. And seriously it has been SO much fun reading the recommendations that have come in from it. To catch up on the previous posts this year, click here and here!
Thursday Tours: Cocktails
Why hello friends and happy December! Hope you had an awesome Thanksgiving! I spent my long weekend gorging myself on mostly stuffing, ultra-buttery Parker House rolls and pumpkin cinnamon rolls (all homemade of course!). I seriously ate so much on Thursday that I woke up in the middle of the night with a stomach ache. Clearly I didn’t train hard enough.
Before we get started with our regular programming, don’t forget to enter my spectacular holiday giveaway! Two winners will each win a basket filled with $250 of Portland goodies like Red Duck Ketchup and Honey Mama’s bars and gift certificate to my favorites like Tea Bar and Pip’s! Check out this post on how to enter if you haven’t already! You have until Monday, 12/7!
Thursday Tours: Markets + Makers
The holidays are almost here! For me, I absolutely love Thanksgiving. My family never did anything big for other holidays but Thanksgiving was always the day of cooking, eating and celebrating, what’s not to like about that?! This year, I’ll be stuffing my face at my parents’ house in Sherwood with a handful of family members and lots of good friends. Traditional cornbread stuffing, chocolate bourbon pecan pie and Thanksgiving trivia games are on my list of things to bring. What is your plan?
