Without a doubt, this is post that is WAY late – Counter Culture was over a month ago. However it was so much fun and we had such delicious wine and food that it is still worth talking about. Really not much beats a gorgeous summer evening with a great friend, tasty wine and good food!

Hosted by Anne Amie Vineyards in beautiful Carlton, Oregon, Counter Culture featured wine tastings from 13 wineries, coming from as far as New Zealand. 

As a “celebration of international wine and urban street food,” they also had food tastings (with suggested wine pairings of course) from 13 incredible local restaurants. Every restaurant listed was one I loved going to, like D.O.C. and Lovely’s Fifty Fifty, or one I had been dying to try, like Bollywood Theater and the Woodsman Tavern. Continue Reading...
