Two weeks ago, to close out our super fun long weekend in Eugene, Brice and I got to enjoy a special dinner at Remedy Wine Bar, courtesy of Little Green Pickle. I was eager to check out their new menu put together by Chef Lucas Parsley, who joined the Remedy team in February.

Now that I’m getting a little older, the idea of staying out past 10pm and drinking the night away just doesn’t sound so appealing. And a hangover? No thanks. February’s #SupperClubPDX was an incredibly fun evening out at North Light. As a reminder, Supper Club is my kind of club – a few lovely ladies who are all interested in eating tasty food and trying new restaurants around town. We have met once a month to experience things like the Full Ruski Experience at Kachka and German cuisine at Stammtisch.

Recent Life in Photos

Exciting news, friends! (Well, at least to me it is exciting.) I have finally taken the photography plunge and gotten myself off “Auto.”

Ok, over the year plus that I’ve had a DSLR, I’ve played around with the Manual settings. But very honestly, it often ended poorly. I would be frustrated and confused, staring at a photo that I thought would be great and it turned out was not so much.

Now with the help of an awesome instructor/tutor who I found – and highly recommend! – I have finally made some progress. The road to better photos has been fun, challenging and at times expensive (I always seem to pick up expensive hobbies…)! Continue Reading...
