Guys! Really exciting news! I am teaming up with Forktown Food Tours to co-host a bakery tour!

I have been wanting to do an organized bakery crawl ever since starting this blog. A few years back for my birthday, I set up a version with my girlfriends, which was super fun. But turning it into an event for Portland tourists or locals looking to find some new great spots just never happened.

February’s #SupperClubPDX was an incredibly fun evening out at North Light. As a reminder, Supper Club is my kind of club – a few lovely ladies who are all interested in eating tasty food and trying new restaurants around town. We have met once a month to experience things like the Full Ruski Experience at Kachka and German cuisine at Stammtisch.

Recent Life in Photos

Exciting news, friends! (Well, at least to me it is exciting.) I have finally taken the photography plunge and gotten myself off “Auto.”

Ok, over the year plus that I’ve had a DSLR, I’ve played around with the Manual settings. But very honestly, it often ended poorly. I would be frustrated and confused, staring at a photo that I thought would be great and it turned out was not so much.

Now with the help of an awesome instructor/tutor who I found – and highly recommend! – I have finally made some progress. The road to better photos has been fun, challenging and at times expensive (I always seem to pick up expensive hobbies…)! Continue Reading...
